Stephanie Metheny, IFAST rock-star and expectant mom, visited WISH TV’s IndyStyle set yesterday with Bill Hartman PT to talked about how to keep moving during pregnancy.
According to the Mayo Clinic, exercising during pregnancy can help women:
- Ease or prevent back pain and other discomforts
- Boost mood and energy levels
- Improve sleep
- Prevent excess weight gain
- Increase stamina and muscle strength
Being strong and pain-free before Stephanie got pregnant really maximized her strength training options. Her dedication to training safely and consistently throughout her pregnancy has inspired us all.
Thank you again to Stephanie for being a wonderful super model yesterday and sharing your time with us and the IndyStyle viewers!
