The Learn to Lift Charity Bootcamp

written by Mike Robertson

I’ve made mention of this before, but I wanted to make everyone aware of this upcoming event.

On Saturday, April 7th at 12:00 pm, I’m going to be hosting a special “Learn to Lift” charity bootcamp at IFAST. The proceeds from this camp will go to help fund sports training and coaching awareness for children in Zambia.

My good friend and colleague Brian Grasso is the one who is pulling all this together, and really, I’m just here to help support his cause and help him make a difference in the lives of these children.

Here are some short YouTube clips that describe what Brian will be doing with his time in Zambia:

If you’d like to attend, please let us know ASAP! I think this is going to be an amazing experience, and I’m really excited to be a part of such an amazing cause.

The course outline is simple: I’m going to take everyone through the major movement patterns (such as squatting, deadlifting, pushing, pulling, etc.) and break down your form and technique first hand. We’re going to show you exactly how to do things so that you get more out of every training session you do going forward.

Needless to say, technique can always get better – and don’t worry, we’re going to burn a few calories in the process!

One more time, here are the details:

When: Saturday, April 7th, 2012, starting at 12:00 pm (Noon)

Where: Indianapolis Fitness and Sports Training

Why: To support the FTR nation and encourage change and growth to the children of Zambia

Cost: $20 (however, greater donations will be accepted)

To register, please e-mail or call IFAST at 317.578.0998, or e-mail us directly at [email protected]

Thanks for your support and I look forward to seeing you on April 7th!

All the best
