All Kinds of IFAST Updates

written by Mike Robertson

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven’t gotten to post in a bit; things got really hectic for a couple of weeks but I’m back in action and ready to go!

With that being said, we’ve got all kinds of cool events and promotions coming up soon, so let’s get right into it!

Living Social Team Training Deal

Team Training is the IFAST version of bootcamp, and we’re really excited about how the classes are coming together.

Can you imagine a large group training environment where you get a thorough assessment?

Or an individualized warm-up routine, based on your unique limitations and/or movement restrictions?

And last but not least, what if we could even customize the training session to make sure you’re getting the most out of it?

Well that’s exactly what we’ll be doing with our Team Training sessions!

Young Lance is teaching Team Training classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. If you’d like to give our classes a shot, we even have a Living Social deal that you can pick up to get started ASAP.

10/12: Women’s Self-Defense 101

IFAST member Clint Cloys teaches self-defense classes, and he’ll be holding a session here at IFAST in just a few short weeks.

If you’re interested, simply follow the hyperlink above to register.

10/19: IFAST Night at Indiana Ice (Group ID: IFAST)

What’s better than hanging with the IFAST crew for a workout?

Easy – hanging out with the IFAST crew after hours!

The Indiana Ice game should be a great evening, and we’re looking forward to seeing a ton of you there. Just follow the link below and use the group ID to get a discount on your tickets!

10/26: Charity Bootcamp, 9am

Kirsten has done a wonderful job of setting up the first annual IFAST Fang Club, where we donate $5 for every pound lost to breast and ovarian cancer support groups.

To help do my part, I’m going to be offer a charity bootcamp on Saturday, October 26th from 9-10 am. All of the proceeds will go to the “Young Survival Coalition,” and it’s going to be a great event. All that we ask is that you donate a minimum of $20 so that we can provide this awesome group with a serious check.

Our goal between the Fang Club AND the charity bootcamp is $1,000, so hopefully we can make this happen!

We’re working on a registration link as we speak, so if you’re interested please send an e-mail to [email protected] and we’ll get you on the list.

11/12: Athletic Development Workshop, 7:30-8:30 pm

Last but not least, I’m going to be hosting a 1-hour talk on Tuesday, November 12th on how to maximize athletic development.

This will cover not only how to maximize long term development of young athletes, but how to regain lost athleticism as well. Needless to say, it’s going to be a fun talk. $10 is all it will take to reserve your seat, and all of the proceeds will go to support to Hamilton County Community Tennis Organization. Again, we should have a registration link up in the next day or two, so please let us know if you’re interested.

As you can see, we’ve got a ton of irons in the fire, and we’re looking forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming events!

All the best
