Hey everyone! I’m Jake Jenness, a Sports Performance & Nutrition Coach, and the guy who’s always looking for ways to help athletes and fitness enthusiasts get stronger, faster, and healthier—all while having some fun along the way.
I grew up playing football, baseball, and running track, so I know firsthand what it takes to compete, improve, and push past limits. Whether it was building strength to take a hit on the football field or developing speed to steal bases in baseball, I’ve always believed in training smart and training hard.
That passion led me to Indiana University (Go Hoosiers!), where I earned my Bachelor’s in Kinesiology before working with athletes in D1 Strength & Conditioning programs, private sports facilities, and health clubs.
Now, through Apollo Athletics, I offer Sport Performance Training, Strength Coaching, Nutrition Coaching, and Virtual Training for a wide range of clients, including:
- Youth athletes (ages 11-20+) at all skill levels and in various sports, helping them improve performance, stay injury-free, and gain confidence on and off the field.
- Adults (30-65 years old) looking to lose weight, build muscle, and improve overall health—I’ve helped clients lose up to 60 lbs in just six months with the right training and nutrition strategies.
- Seniors (65+) who want to maintain muscle mass, mobility, and stay pain-free so they can continue enjoying life to the fullest.
What makes my approach different? I combine performance training with nutrition coaching and use tech-driven performance tracking to ensure real, measurable results.
I focus on long-term success, whether you’re an athlete chasing the next level, an adult working toward your fitness goals, or someone looking to move and feel better every day.
