Happy New Year from Indianapolis Fitness and Sports Training

We just want to thank all of our members for a great first 5 months.

We thank you for your attention and your amazing efforts.

The progress that you’ve all made in the last few months has been inspiring.  It’s like having a new success story every day we come in.

We just found out today that the 6 a.m. weight loss group will have a new member joining them next week.  There’s no doubt that she’ll benefit from their weight loss experience and their support.

It’s been interesting how our reach has extended beyond the Indianapolis personal training realm.  We’ve had as many as 4 clients from California, 2 from North Dakota, one from New York, one from Florida, and even one from Japan!

When we designed Indianapolis Fitness and Sports Training (IFAST), we envisioned what would be the most effective fitness training facility in Indianapolis for the serious fitness enthusiasts, weight loss clients, and competitive athletes.  We wanted to be able to implement the best weight loss programs and the best sports training programs available.  Based on the results we’re seeing with our clients, it’s obvious that we’re achieving that goal.

No where else will you be able to see such a variety of people exercising in the same gym with such great success.

In just the last 2 weeks, in addition to our weight loss programs, we’ve implemented training for martial artists and mixed martial artists, Olympic bob sled, soccer programs, tennis programs, golf programs, hockey programs, baseball programs, college football programs, and powerlifting programs.

You’ve made the atmophere here at IFAST the most supportive and goal-oriented in Indianapolis.

It’s a pleasure and an honor to share in your successes and we look forward to an even greater 2009.

Thanks to Dave Tate and EliteFTS!

As you may have been aware, our Prowler was stolen not too long ago.  Since then we’ve done exceptionally well with out it, but we did miss it because it’s such a useful tool for our sports-specific conditioning and weight loss programs.

Even our members who are not so fond of some fat loss exercises think the EliteFTS Prowler is a blast.

Well, anyway, Mike Robertson made a call to Dave Tate and asked if he could rush us new Prowler for our appearance on the local morning news show (December 15th on Fox 59).

Dave came through for us in a very big way.

The great thing about the Prowler is that it can be used in a number of ways making it a very versitile tool.

We’ve used it for:

Aerobic training

Speed training

Heavy pushes and pulls for strength or muscular endurance

Anaerobic Interval Training

Fat Loss Programs

Recovery between maximal effort or muscular endurance training session

General restoration

We put it right to good use as soon as we got it.

Indianapolis Weight Loss Specialists

Because our gym’s name is Indianapolis Fitness and Sports Training, many people think that we only train athletes.

Not so.

I was talking with my friend Joe Stankowski (www.morningcupofjoe.com) this past weekend, and he’d asked what type of clients we were working with.  I proceeded to list off quite a variety of clients from professional athletes, collegiate athletes, and high school athlethes participating in our sport-specific programs, post-rehab clients coming back from serious injuries, and busy executives and soccer moms participating in our weight loss and fitness programs.

I told him that the one thing that ties all of our clients together is their attitude.  Everyone that comes to our gym brings with them a serious “training mentality”.  In other words, they have a specific fitness goal in mind, and they are committed to achieving it.  You’ll never see one of our clients coasting through a workout.  Our clients don’t like to waste time.  They want to be successful and our fitness programs have the track record to get them where they want to be.

Here’s just one example.

Mrs. K. was a lot like other women who had tried and failed with many weight loss programs.  She’s worked with several trainers in several locations in and around Indianapolis.  In looking back, it wasn’t that she lacked the necessary effort to achieve her goal, but rather, she lacked the appropriate technology.  She lacked the synergy required to put the nutritional components and the exercise programs together effectively.

Over recent months, she’s committed to an effective weight loss diet plan and gives some of the best effort of any of our Indianapolis Fitness and Sports Training fat loss program clients with her exercise program.  We couldn’t be more proud of her progress.  At last check she’s down 4 clothing sizes and still going.

Ask yourself…how will you look and feel in three months if you commit to one of our weight loss programs?
