Bill Hartman

Bill Hartman is co-owner of Indianapolis Fitness and Sports Training. He has been a physical therapist and sports performance coach in Indianapolis, IN for over 17 years. A lifetime athlete, Bill was a top ten finisher in the National Junior Olympics in the javelin and continued throwing the javelin and playing football in college. Bill also placed second at the Purdue Bodybuilding Championships, at the time was the largest, full-time student bodybuilding contest in the country.

Bill graduated with distinction from Purdue University in 1988 with a degree in Movement and Sports Science and received his degree in Physical Therapy from the Indiana University Physical Therapy Program.

As a physical therapist, Bill has worked in a variety of settings with a specialization in orthopedics and sports medicine. Bill has received advanced training in treatment of spinal disorders to include spinal mobilization, treatment of lumbo-pelvic disorders, shoulder rehabilitation, knee rehabilitation, core conditioning, and treatment of soft-tissue disorders. Bill is also an Active Release Techniques Practitioner with credentials to treat upper extremity, lower extremity, and spinal disorders.

Bill holds certifications with the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and with USA Weightlifting as a Sports Performance Coach. Bill also sits on the Board of Directors of the International Youth Conditioning Association.

Bill regularly works with general fitness and fat loss clientele and athletes at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels in a number of sports including golf, football, basketball, martial arts, tennis, and racewalking.

Bill has been featured in national golf publications such as Golf World, Golf Week, and Golf Magazine. He was also a columnist and a member of the advisory board for Men’s Fitness Magazine and is currently a contributing writer for Men’s Health Magazine. Bill has co-authored a book with Adam Campbell called The Men’s Fitness Total Body Plan and created his top-selling DVD, Your Golf Fitness Coach’s Video Library.

Along with Mike Robertson, Bill co-created the ground breaking Inside-Out: The Ultimate Body Warm-Up DVD (www.inside-out-warm-up.com).

Mike Robertson

Mike Robertson is the co-owner of Indianapolis Fitness and Sports Training and the President of Robertson Training Systems in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mike has made a name for himself as one of the premier performance coaches in the world, helping clients and athletes from all walks of life achieve their physique and sports performance goals.

Mike received his Masters degree in Sports Biomechanics at Ball State University. His graduate assistantship was performed in the Biomechanics Lab, a division of the Human Performance Lab. In his time there, Mike was responsible for setting up a complete online exercise database, assisting in research on strength and power development, and also played an integral role in starting up the strength diagnosis clinic. Working in the athletic weight room is where Mike found his calling, however, and he put in nearly 1400 volunteer hours as an assistant strength and conditioning coach in 2 years time. Mike worked primarily with the football, volleyball and soccer teams, while counseling and coaching individual athletes from all of Ball State’s 26 varsity sports.

Finally, Mike is an accomplished athlete and coach in the sport of powerlifting, having totaled 1400 pounds in the 198 pound weight class. Mike has coached several National champions in the Collegiate ranks, and as an assistant coach for the 2004 USA World Bench Press Team, Mike helped the team clinch a second and first place finish for the Men’s and Women’s teams, respectively.
